A swivel is a mechanical component used to transport different types of media that takes into consideration the number of flow paths, temperatures, pressures, velocities, loads and the environment. Swivels are manufactured for large temperature changes and pressure differences for a variety of conditions and environments.

A swivel works by connecting a stationary inlet to a rotating outlet so that a movable connection is maintained and allows flow of media (hydraulics, water, oil or other fluids).
